The barrels are fitted with a single steel bead sight on the matte solid rib with 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, and modified/improved modified chokes. The barrels are marked "CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) Ltd." and "ORANGE STREET GUNWORKS LEICESTER SQUARE LONDON" on the right and left respectively. The top of the barrel rib is marked "XXV". The casehardened receiver features tight, detailed English style scroll engraving and "CHURCHILL" in rectangle banners on either side. The barrel flats and water table are stamped with assorted British proofmarks. All visible serial numbers match. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with a silver initial oval inscribed "JFD" and a leather covered recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .732/.731 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .044/.044 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 1 7/8 inches; length of pull 13 7/8 inches.
