The left side plate is signed "S.P." The balance of the action features leafy scroll and arabesque style swirls with hatched shading. Fitted with double triggers and a tang mounted thumb safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered forearm and straight grip stock with a serrated Merkel buttplate. The 20 gauge barrel set is numbered "2" on the rib extension and has a single brass bead sight, 3 inch chambers, ejectors, and cylinder/improved cylinder chokes. Each barrel set has its own forearm, and both sets are numbered to the gun. Includes the original box and a Merkel takedown case with papers.
