Manufactured in 1938. Heavy barrel with Lyman filler block in the front sight dovetail slot and scope blocks towards the rear, and standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver. The receiver has an open rear sight dovetail. The magazine is absent. Mounted on a smooth pistol grip stock with an accessory rail in the forearm with an aluminum palm stop/sling swivel installed and checkered steel buttplate.

Manufactured in 1949 during the transition period (late 1945 to 1951). Ramp front sight, folding adjustable leaf rear sight, Redfield 4x scope on a Redfield mount, polished bolt (illegible number), late safety and standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the barrel and receiver. Mounted with a checkered pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.
