Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Bolt Action Rifle in 308 Winchester

Manufactured in 1953. Hooded ramp front sight, folding adjustable leaf rear sight and receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Late safety, polished bolt numbered to the gun and checkered high comb pistol grip stock with aluminum buttplate.

ConditionVery fine. The rifle retains 90% plus original blue finish overall showing thinning on the bolt handle and some minor high edge wear on the trigger guard and floor plate. There are some scuff marks on top of the receiver from now absent scope blocks. The refinished stock is very fine with a few very scattered mild handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
