Earlier Colt LE6920 carbine as produced in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The left side of the mag well is marked with: "Colt Law Enforcement Carbine" markings, and the right side has the "Restricted to Military/Government/Law Enforcement/Export" markings. This model was a close copy of the Government M4 carbine used in Iraq and Afghanistan. It has the M4 type flattop upper receiver with an integral Picatinny rail. The upper receiver is fitted with a detachable carrying handle with the two position rear sight adjustable out to 600 yard with the standard post front sight. The barrel has the faster twist rate and is correctly marked "C MP/5.56 NATO 1/7". The barrel also has the factory cut in front of the front sight base intended to mount a grenade launcher, (which obviously is NOT included). It has the standard Colt four position telescoping buttstock and the round ribbed front handguards. This carbine comes with a black nylon rifle sling, two Colt marked 30 round magazines and an extra Ruger 30 round Mini-14 magazine.
