Manufactured in 1891 (First Model solid receiver) and subsequently restored many years later. Blade front and notch rear sights and the top barrel flat marked with the two line address and "22 SHORT." The upper tang is marked with the three line model/patent marking. Blue finish barrel and magazine tube, and the remaining components are casehardened. Mounted with a smooth straight grip stock and 12 groove forearm.
Very fine as professionally restored overall. The rifle retains nearly all of the blue finish and case colors showing a few minor handling marks and limited pitting under the finish. The wood is fine with a hairline crack in the wrist and a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
