Description:

Standard markings and features. Dated "1863" on the lock and "1869" on the breech. Includes a socket bayonet.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The breech retains 90% of the original dark oil quenched case colors. The lock has mottled light brown patina, and the remaining surfaces including the bayonet display light gray patina mixed with light pitting and spotting. The stock is fine and has some nicks and scrapes throughout, crisp pair of "ESA" cartouches, two obscured cartouches, and a few minor chips/slivers absents. Mechanically excellent.
