Manufactured circa 1972-1973. The barrel is fitted with a matte vent rib with double bead sights. There is a 1 1/2 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving on each side of the breech end of the barrel. The left rear is marked with the two line Winchester trade mark, model, gauge, chamber over "FULL". The Winchester oval proof is marked on the upper left of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The left side of the receiver is engraved with two hunting dogs and a grouse in and wooded scene and four ducks in a marsh scene on the right side. Each scene is flanked by floral scroll patterns. There is light floral scroll engraving on the trigger guard and takedown ring. Matching serial numbers and a pigeon engraved on the magazine tube. Jeweled bolt and follower, and mounted with a nicely figured deluxe fancy bordered checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with metal grip cap, high comb and vented Winchester recoil pad. Drop at the comb is 1 1/8 inches, drop at the heel, 2 1/4 inches and the length of pull is 14 inches.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 97% plus original blue finish with some wear on the magazine tube from normal cycling of the action. The wood is also excellent with some crazing on the stock, overall light handling marks and sharp checkering. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is excellent.
