Manufactured in 1941. Hooded ramp front and elevation adjustable rear (elevator absent) sights, standard markings, early receiver correctly tapped for sight mounting, cloverleaf receiver tang, pre-war safety, polished bolt numbered to the gun. Comes with the sight alignment tag, Model 70 pamphlet and Winchester factory box re-numbered to gun.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% plus original blue finish showing a number of light handling marks on the floor plate. The stock is also excellent showing a few very scattered minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with split corners and wear.
