Manufactured in 1937. Hooded ramp front sight, unmarked filler block in the rear sight dovetail slot, Lyman receiver sight (with stock cut-out), early receiver with cloverleaf tang, pre-war safety, polished bolt numbered to gun and standard markings and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate. Stock features a cheekpiece, hard rubber factory grip cap and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 80% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The refinished stock is fine with recut checkering and some scattered minor handling marks. The forend cap retains much of the finish with some texture. Mechanically excellent.
