Produced in 1968, this revolver was retained by the factory and handed over to the Custom Shop to be fitted with an experimental scope base. The adjustable rear sight has been removed, with a "BUSHNELL COLT" marked block set into the rear sight groove and fixed with screws in the top strap. ; Markings and features are standard. In a Colt maroon box with hand numbered Custom Shop label and factory letter.

Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing light scratches, dings and spotting. Box is good, with some wear and tear concentrated along the edges and cutouts in the carton to accommodate the base. Mechanically excellent. Grips are absent.
