This rifle has a blue barrel manufactured without sights, a gold trigger, a polished bolt and the remaining surfaces French satin gray. The receiver has a Bausch & Lomb BALvar 8 scope. The breech end of the barrel has a 2 inch floral scroll and punch dot engraved wedge on either side. The front receiver ring is engraved with a pronghorn antelope on the right side and bugling moose on the left side with the remainder of the receiver featuring a scroll leaf and punch dot engraving. The left front of the receiver and floorplate are signed "J BAERTEN." The trigger guard is signed "HD." The hinged floor plate is engraved with a deer in a wooded scene with floral scrollwork below and on the attaching metal. The trigger guard is engraved with a bear. The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and floral and matte hand carving on the forearm and grip area. The stock has contrasting forend and grip cap, a raised comb, cheekpiece, vented Pachmayr White Line recoil pad and leather sling.

Excellent. The rifle retains 99% plus of the original blue and French gray finishes showing a dark spot on the inside of the trigger guard. The stock is fine with flaking finish and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope has clear optics.
