Manufactured in 1906. According to the chart on page 298 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote, 269 CHE grade shotguns were manufactured with 30 inch barrels in 12 gauge chambering. Single nickel bead sight on the concave matte rib marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN, CONN. TITANIC STEEL". Features 2 3/4" chambers, selective auto ejectors, and modified/full chokes. The receiver has standard "C" grade engraving with hunting dogs on the sides, and five ducks on the underside. The dog and duck scenes are bordered with tight, detailed scroll engraving with "PARKER BROS" in banners on the side. The trigger guard and tangs are similarly engraved. Fitted with dual triggers and a tang mounted automatic thumb safety. Mounted on a finely checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with a hard rubber Parker Bros. grip cap, silver initial oval, and an engraved skeleton buttplate over a checkered bare butt. The barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .734/.734 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .048/.048 inch; drop at comb 1 3/4 inches; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Fine. 80% original blue finish remains with a small patch of cleaned pitting on the left barrel near the muzzle, some small dings visible around the muzzles, scattered light surface scratches, and a patch of rough oxidation near the breech on the left barrel. The receiver has 25% original case colors with patchy oxidation on the left side and the balance a smooth gray patina with clear engraving and markings. The wood is also fine with small scattered pressure dents throughout, rich color, crisp checkering, and a mottled gray patina on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
