Per Gibson's "Krieghoff Parabellum", approximately 300 Krieghoff Lugers were produced in 1942. Fixed sights, the "1942" date on the chamber, "Type C-3" Krieghoff logo on the front toggle link, and Luftwaffe "eagle" and "eagle/2" proofs on multiple components. Small parts are straw colored, salt blued magazine catch, black grips, and a blued extruded magazine numbered to match the pistol. With a black leather "eagle/2" marked flap holster with an extra matching numbered magazine and a Krieghoff proofed takedown tool.

Fine with 50% of the faded, thin original blue finish, some areas of brown patina, mild spotting, bright edge wear, and scattered handling marks. The grips are good with some mild dings, and the straw parts have turned a dull gray. The holster is very good with some scuffing. Mechanically excellent.
