Description:

Manufactured by Erma, several parts of this conversion kit bear the very early 1930s pattern "eagle/M" German Navy marking, suggesting manufacture towards the very beginning of Hitler's rule over the country. The barrel sleeve, breech toggle assembly, cleaning rod, rod guide and case are also marked "N183", suggesting issue through a North Sea arsenal, and the breech and sleeve are matching serial numbered "924A" Also included with the lot is a proper style magazine and a spare brass collar for the barrel sleeve, allowing use with both the standard 4" barrel Luger and the extended 6" Navy Luger. Per notes from author and expert Charles Kenyon (copy of signed letter included), this is an "ultra-rare" Navy Luger accessory, with military issue cases in general being notably hard to find, and Navy-marked examples even more so.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 80% plus factory blue finish, showing some pitting on the magazine and mild handling marks overall. Some small components are absent. The case is very good, with some light stains and wear. A scarce piece of military kit that would make a fine addition to any collection of military Lugers or Kriegsmarine artifacts.
