Description:

Manufactured in the introductory year for the model, with the conventional Walther banner and one line address markings on the left side of the frame in lieu of the later alphanumeric war production codes. Produced without sights, with a two position safety switch, three position selector switch, and a pair of smooth grips. The back strap is stamped "N/104" suggesting issue to units operating in the North Sea.

Rating Definition:

Good, with some erosion on the break lever, darkening of the finish in the lower areas, and scattered light scuffs and handling marks. The forearm is absent, and the grips have been heavily sanded, removing the checkering altogether, and pinned together. Mechanically good, with some play in the lever. This is still a highly sought after example.
