A) High Standard U.S.A. Model H-D Semi-Automatic Pistol

Introduced in 1943. Approximately 44,000 were produced for the U.S. government. Features a target weight barrel. The right side of the frame is marked "PROPERTY OF / U.S." with the crossed cannon inspection mark below. The right side of the slide is marked "U.S. NAVY." The top of the barrel is marked "PROPERTY OF U.S.A."

ConditionVery fine with 75% of the original blue finish with minor scattered scratches and dings. The barrel and grip strap areas have faded to a brown patina. The markings are clear. The grips are very good with minor scattered dings. The checkering has moderate wear. Mechanically fine.

B) U.S. Marked Post-War High Standard Model HB Semi-Automatic Pistol

Manufactured in 1948 with standard markings and features. The box is numbered to the gun.

ConditionFine with 60% of the original blue finish with scattered scratches along the barrel and slide, and minor muzzle wear. The front and rear grip straps have faded to a brown patina. The grips are fine with a few minor dings. The checkering has moderate wear. Mechanically excellent.
