Manufactured in 1942. Standard round blade front and frame notch rear sights, two-line address on top of the barrel, and two-line model and caliber marking on the left side of the barrel. The frame does not display any U.S. property marks, and is stamped with a single "P" proofmark on the left rear, and the "VP" Colt proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Fitted with checkered grips with Rampant Colt impressions at the top. Includes a box that has been numbered to the gun.

Fitted with smooth grips and a lanyard loop on the butt. The serial number is marked on the butt followed by a "P" proof.
