This is an excellent example of a commemorative Model 1902 Cartridge Counter that was part of a special series manufactured in 1982 with a limited amount of 250 units. The pistol has standard markings and features of the special edition. The grips are checkered walnut with the numbers 1 through 7 in black lettering on a white background running along the front cut out edge of the left panel to allow visual confirmation of the number of rounds in the magazine.
