Manufactured in 1968, this beautiful example of a factory engraved Colt Python has a pinned ramp front and adjustable rear notch sights, wide checkered hammer and a serrated trigger and back strap. Featuring a Colt standard "C" grade engraving, with nearly three quarters coverage. Engraving is in a classic American style. Includes a factory letter that confirms the standard features, Class "C" engraving, and that revolver was shipped on December 30, 1968 in factory order #11660 to Firestone Camera Center Inc. in Downey, California. Includes the original box, tool, and papers.

Excellent with 99% of the original nickel plated finish with minor scratches on the left side of the barrel and slight scratches on the cylinder. The engravings and markings are crisp and clear. The grips are excellent with a couple of minor nicks in the otherwise sharp checkering. The box is very good with minor corner and edge wear. Mechanically excellent.
