This rifle was manufactured in 1912 and has the standard barrel markings, the Winchester oval proof on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech, the serial number marked on the underside of the receiver, a dovetailed blade front sight, a semi-buckhorn rear sight, blue finish, and a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a steel crescent buttplate.

Very good. The barrel and magazine tube retain 80% original blue finish with some muzzle wear and a very small amount of very minor spotting. The receiver, lever and forend cap are bright with traces of blue finish in the protected areas of the frame. The hammer retains most of the original case colors. The stock has been sanded and refinished and shows a few minor dings, and the forearm has some scattered minor gouges, dents, and scratches. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
