Manufactured in 1963 and subsequently custom embellished overall. Single high visibility orange bead front sight, Simmons rib, 3 inch chamber, standard barrel markings and proofs, and a skeet marked choke. The breech end of the barrel is engraved with an oak leaf and acorn design on a punch dot background, and the receiver features masterfully executed dog and bird game scenes with deeply cut forested backgrounds. The balance is covered in sharp, tight flowing scroll. The upper tang is engraved with the initials "MTR" in fine gold inlay. Mounted on a fancy checkered forearm and stock with fancy foliate carved borders, contrasting grip cap, rollover cheek piece, and a vented Pachmayr recoil pad. The stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 inches.
