Only approximately 5,704 Model 65 rifles were manufactured between 1933 and 1947. Few were manufactured in .218 Bee after it was introduced into the line in 1937-39. This example has the standard markings, a ramped hooded beaded blade front sight, a rear sight filler block, and a bolt mounted adjustable peep sight. Mounted on a smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown and a couple patches of gray patina. The buttplate is a mixture of original blue finish and smooth brown-gray patina. The wood is very fine showing a patch of missing finish exposing darker wood tone and some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
