Scarce Winchester Model 53 Lever Action Rifle

Manufactured in 1927. Standard markings. Brass beaded ramped blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. Mounted on a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock with a serrated steel buttplate.

ConditionExcellent. The rifle retains 90% plus original blue finish with some muzzle and edge wear, and some thinning to a brown patina on the receiver. The wood is also excellent with a few minor dents and dings. The markings are sharp. The action is excellent.
