Manufactured in 1936, going through the same improvements as the Target Rifle. Hooded bead front sight, with a receiver mounted Lyman adjustable peep sight at the rear, with stock cutout. Standard markings. "SPORTING" is marked on the trigger guard plate directly ahead of the trigger guard bow. Mounted with a one piece multi-point checkered select walnut pistol grip stock with a contrasting forend piece, hard rubber grip cap, cheek piece, checkered metal buttplate and sling swivels. The scope measures 26 inches in length, screw in lens caps, elevation and windage adjustable rear mount and recoil spring. Scope comes in a factory wooden box with brass hardware and instruction sheets with two single loading adaptors, one for a Winchester Model 52, the other unknown.

Excellent. The rifle retains 95% original blue finish with some old dried protective grease overall and some muzzle wear, some thinning on the bolt handle and a few small minor scratches on the trigger guard. The stock is very good with some scattered minor dents, dings and scuffs and crisp checkering. The action is excellent. The scope is very fine with 90% of the original blue, showing normal handling and usage, and light spotting under the recoil spring. The scope case is very good with some stains, scuffs and scratches on the exterior and one of the interior braces is loose.
