Description:

The accompanying factory letter confirms the caliber, factory Class A engraving, barrel length, finish and grips. S&W historian Roy Jinks was of the opinion that the engraving was done by S&W Master Engraver Siegfried Rentzschke. The revolver was shipped on November 17, 1959 and delivered to W.H. Kiefaber Co. of Dayton, Ohio. The beautiful factory scroll engraving is near full coverage. The standard barrel markings are inside simple banners, and the engraving surrounds the standard frame markings. Comes with a factory hardwood case, screwdriver and bore rod with two attachments.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 99% plus original blue finish remaining, showing a small ding on the underside of the barrel and a faint eylinder drag line. Mechanically excellent. The relined case is fine showing some minor handling/storage marks and staining on the interior.
