This handsomely engraved pair is virtually identical with the exception of the gauge and specific measurements. The shotguns feature single bead sights, standard AYA maker's marks on the right barrels and Spanish commercial proofs on the barrel flats and water tables. The bright finished side clip receiver and lock plates have full coverage, fine English style rose and scroll engraving with the AYA marker's mark on the underside, engraved screw heads, gold lined cocking indicators, matching engraving on the trigger guard, tangs, and break lever; single non-selective trigger, and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Mounted on a rubbed oil finish checkered forearm and stock with a checkered bare butt. The measurements for gun "A" are: 3 inch chambers; cylinder/improved cylinder chokes; bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .726/.728 inch; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .042/.041 inch; drop at comb 1 1/8 inches; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 14 inches; weight 7 lbs. The set includes a shared leather bound takedown case with a leather AYA interior label and a Spanish proof certificate for each gun.

Fine. 99% original blue and bright finish remains with sharp markings and crisp engraving. The buttstock is missing a piece over the left lock and has a 1/4 inch hairline crack just to the rear of the left lock plate. Otherwise the checkering is crisp and there is some mild finish loss along the left side of the comb. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with scuffs and dings on the exterior, some mild discoloration, and some small marks on the interior lining.

Excellent overall. 99% original blue finish remains with minimal light handling marks, crisp markings and sharp engraving. The forend and buttstock have just a few scattered mild dings. Mechanically excellent.
