The receiver has a zig-zag border engraving, standard one-line patent marking on the right side of the water table, and "VH/223739/V" on the left. Dual triggers, automatic thumb safety and multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap and checkered Parker Brothers "dogs head" hard rubber buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .734/.735 inches; wall thickness at 9 inches from breech .038/.0375 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inch; drop at heel 2 3/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.
