This is an excellent, like new example of a scarce, fully automatic FN Model 50-41 (HB) heavy barrel rifle that has been imported as a dealers sample weapon. These rifles were more desirable in that they have the larger heavy barrel that aids in stability when firing in a fully automatic mode. This model was intended to fill the automatic rifleman position at the squad level in the Belgian Army. The right side of the receiver is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL", and the left side is marked "FAL Cal. 7.62 012". These rifles have an adjustable gas port to control cyclic rate, the military style tangent rear sight calibrated from 200-600 meters, carrying handle, large wooden forend to shield the hand from heat, and a black composite buttstock and pistol grip. It is complete with the original FN barrel mounted folding bipod and one twenty shot magazine.

Excellent as new with 99% of the original factory black finish overall. The stock and forend are both in like new condition. NOTE: This weapon is a restricted, National Firearms Act (NFA) Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. This weapon is currently registered as being "LIMITED TO USE AS A SALES SAMPLE (Pre-86)" and as such can only be purchased by an FFL with a Class 2 or Class 3 SOT License.
