Description:

Produced in quantity during World War II, the STEN Gun was one of the signature weapons of the Commonwealth of Nations. While notably rough in appearance, the STEN was a simple machine that provided good firepower and could run in harsh conditions. Blade front and fixed peep rear sights, with "STEN MK II" and the serial number on the magazine well, "ENGLAND" stamped up the left side of the trigger housing, a "R A" (semi, full) selector switch and a tubular buttstock. A plug has been welded into the breech, and the barrel collar has been spot-welded to the tubular frame.

Rating Definition:

Fair overall. The barrel, collar and buttstock show a mixed brown patina, with about half of the blue remaining on the receiver and magazine well, scattered spotting and patches of rust, and mild handling marks. A pattern of round spots of wear is present on the right side of the stock and receiver, possibly from contact with bubble wrap. Mechanically very good. NOTE: This is a registered DEWAT weapon with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), as a National Firearms Act (NFA) weapon, that is fully transferable. It has been classified as a Curio or Relic as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are still subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. No assurance or guarantee is offered that this weapon can be restored or "re-activated".
