Finish: brown
Grip:
Stock: hardwood

Description:

This percussion rifle has no visible markings. The "Lehigh Lady" is on the traditional Lehigh style patch box, and floral patterns are on the thumb plate and cheekpiece plate. It has traditional rifle sights but has been bored smooth (possibly after the original rifling was worn out).

Rating Definition:

Poor. The iron has a dug up appearance with coarse pitting throughout. The brass components have an aged patina and likely include replacement pieces. The stock has been extensively repaired and coated with a glossy varnish and has slivers and chips absent and several cracks. The underside of the butt is well-worn and chipped. Mechanically inoperable. Caution: The bore is obstructed approximately 5 inches ahead of the breech.
