This model was produced from 1941-44 at both the Tula and Ishevsk arsenals. The top of the receiver has a very small small/faint "Arrow in a Triangle" proof, indicating Ishevsk arsenal. It has the military style tangent rear sight with the hooded front sight. It has a standard Russian hardwood stock/handguard with the serial number on the left side and various subinspector proofs on the right side. It has the perforated metal forearm with the slotted muzzle brake. The rear of the rifle receiver was modified to accept a WWII Russian style reproduction sniper scope mount, which is now fitted with a short WWII type, Tokarev PU sniper rifle scope. The scope is marked on top with the "Star/hammer and sickle/half-moon mark/1941 No 53637". It is complete with a detachable box magazine (which has been shortened to hold only five rounds), cleaning rod, post war leather lens caps, with a canvas scope/mount cover, a green canvas sling and Tokarev bayonet and scabbard.
