Description:

Often produced at individual arms depots or ordnance schools, cut-away arms such as this were used for the education of armorers and end users, demonstrating the internal functions of the weapon. Dated 1882, with matching visible numbers, and extensive cuts on the left side, top and front, as well as in each individual chamber. Smooth grips, with "B.10.A.1." on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 90% of the arsenal blue finish, showing wear on the high edges, handling marks, frame scratches from the cylinder pin catch, and minor spotting. Interior meta, bore, rifling is bright and excellent (as would be expected of a true cutaway!). Grips are very good, with some dents and staining. Mechanically excellent.
