The slide bears the two-line, two-block patent and address markings on the left side and the Army nomenclature on the right, with a "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marked "GHS" inspected frame. Fitted with a flat top rear sight, wide hammer, short grip safety, flat mainspring housing with lanyard staple, long trigger, checkered grips, unmarked pinned lanyard base magazine and a "P/H" marked Colt barrel.
