Manufactured in 1944, with blade and flat top notch sights, the two-line, two-block address/patent marking with the Rampant Colt in the center on the left side of the slide and "P" on top, "G.H.D." inspected frame, "P/VP" and "4" marked trigger guard, stamped trigger, narrow hammer, serrated arched mainspring housing, reinforced Colt grips, full blue "R" magazine, and a "COLT 45 AUTO" marked barrel.
