Manufactured from 1868 to 1882. The left side of the top strap is marked "MY FRIEND PAT'D. DEC. 26, 1865", and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame with partial matching number on the cylinder pin and cylinder. Seven shot cylinder. The brass frame is engraved with a leaf and scroll design.

Excellent. The cylinder retains 85% original nickel finish with minor flaking. The frame retains 95% original nickel plating with the exposed brass having a smooth mellow patina. The cylinder pin threads are stripped, otherwise action functions properly.
