Rating Definition:

Very fine. 95% plus original blue finish remains with cylinder drag line, areas of mild edge wear, small surface scratches, and handling marks overall. The grips are very good with some small chips on the right panel, indentations on the butt, and well-defined checkering. Mechanically excellent.

The letter further states that the revolver was shipped with checkered walnut grips. The revolver has standard markings and features and is fitted with smooth mother of pearl grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 97% plus original blue finish remains with scattered small surface scratches, some light edge wear, small cylinder drag line, and traces of light surface spotting. The grips are very fine replacements with light handling marks and some faint discoloration along the upper edge. Mechanically excellent.
