A limited number of Krieghoff Lugers were produced in 1941, with only 100 estimated overall and only seven serial numbers (including this pistol) recorded in Gibson's "The Krieghoff Parabellum". Fixed sights, with "1941" on the chamber and a C-3 type Krieghoff "anchor" stamp on the front toggle link. "Eagle/2" Luftwaffe proofs are present on a number of components, along with matching numbers. Fitted with straw finished small parts, and niter blue pins and springs. Two blue extruded "122/eagle/37" magazines with aluminum bases numbered "eagle/2/11799" (one with an inverted "eagle/2"), and a leather holster marked "bla/1941 (E. G. Leuner, Bautzen, one line)", "P.08" and "eagle/L2" markings on the back and an additional "eagle/2" stamp on the interior.
