Dated "1939" over the chamber and marked "S/42" on the top of the toggle. Two "eagle/655" proofs and the spread winged eagle firing proof appear on the right side of the extension, with the latter also appearing on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. The upper safety area and extractor are marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. The magazine is blued with a "6503/r" marked aluminum base; the rest of the externally visible serial numbers are a match to the frame. Overall finish is full-blue, and the grips are checkered. With a brown leather flap holster dated 1939 and a faint maker's code ending in "W.K."

Fine with 70% plus of the original blue finish, some bright edge wear, scattered spotting and handling marks, and some mild brown streaking on the grip straps. The grips are very fine with some light dings and stains. The holster is rough with some wear, tears and repairs. Mechanically excellent.
