The board is mounted in a 3 inch flat wood frame with glass front , 57 inches wide by 40 inches tall, with a gold painted border around the 48 3/4 inch x 31 1/4 inch green board. Dark green background with gold bordered, red letters reading "WINCHESTER/REPEATING ARMS CO." at the top, "NEW HAVEN, CONN., U.S.A." at the bottom with gold lettered "NEW YORK" and "SAN FRANCISCO" underneath at each end. The upper center vignette has two hunters in a wooded scene inspecting a dead bear with their Winchester rifles leaning against a log next to them, flanked by a white banner with red letters reading "REPEATING RIFLES" on the left and "AMMUNITION" on the right. The center of the board between the "W"s is a listing of the products on display. There is a flying mallard on the left and a moose head on the right. The display consists of almost 200 various cartridges and shotgun shells and nine tins of primers, each described below in white letters. The back has a sticker which reads "PRESENTED WITH COMPLIMENTS/of the/WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS Co/PLEASE HANG IN A PROMINENT PLACE" and is stenciled "No 283".

Fine as custom glassed in. There is a small amount of turning up on the lower left hand side and scattered speckled flaking of the dark green background paper. The gold frame is discoloring. The colors remain vibrant. The outer custom framing is very well made and is excellent.
