Appears to be dated "1814" on top of the barrel. The barrel also has "NA/P" proofs on the left and "P," "M," and "SNY" on top at the breech. The lock is marked "S.NY" over a banner marked "ALBANY" on the outside and "EW" on the underside. The stock is marked "EW" on the left flat, "SH" on the butt on the left, and "SP." on the butt on the right.

Rating Definition:

Fine with a mix of brown and gray patina on most of the iron surfaces, brighter metal in the protected areas, some mild pitting and oxidation, and scattered marks. There is some distortion at the muzzle. The stock is very good as revarnished and has some slight hairline cracks and small chips, minor scratches and dings, and handling and storage marks. It is mechanically fine, but the mainspring is a bit weak.
