Description:

It has a scene of Greco-Roman style nude men in battle armed with clubs on one side and a crown over a coat of arms with two towers and two axes surrounded by cherubs. The remaining surfaces have colorful enamel designs including animals, floral motifs, and Grecian scroll borders. Round flasks of this style were commonly used in the 16th and 17th centuries with wheellock rifles, especially in the Germanic states, but this example is believed to have been mad much later, possibly as recently as the late 20th century. It comes in a velvet lined and bound case.

Rating Definition:

Very good with distinct designs and some loosening fittings. The custom case is good and has moderate storage wear including some staining and minor tears and does not latch closed.
