Description:

Constructed from blue cloth with black ribbon trim, the interior of the frock is fitted with a faded diamond-shaped patch and a hand-stitched marking below the pocket which appears to be the kanji for "Fukuoka" (both a Japanese surname and the name of a Provence), with the collar tabs for a Kaigun-shoi (Ensign) with black trim (survey officer). Included with the frock are two caps, one IJN officers cap, black felt construction with metal/bullion insignia and treated canvas sweatband, and a "last ditch" IJA field cap with tacked-on chinstrap and stitched cloth insignia.

Rating Definition:

The frock is very good, with some minor exterior wear and staining. The officer's cap is good on the exterior and rough on the interior, with significant tearing of the sweatband and looseness in the lining, and the field cap is good, with some minor stains and scuffs.
