Produced by the Tokyo Gas and Electric Company under Navy contract with the "GTE" marking on the chamber, an anchor proof on the right side of the one piece frame next to the model markings and serial number, and a pair of Kanji markings on the left side. The stock iron slot on the back strap, a leftover from the original "Grandpa Nambu" design, has been filled in. Fixed front and tangent rear sights, serrated cocking knob, grip safety on the front strap, lanyard swivel, and checkered contoured grips. Magazine is absent.

Very good with half of the faded original blue. The front of the trigger guard has been polished, with a refinished artificial brown patina on the grip straps and scattered pitting overall. The locking block is absent, and some components are mixed. The undersized grips are fine.
