Manufactured using a combination of military surplus and new-made commercial components, this is a fully function all commercial version of the U.S. Army M60E4 general purpose machine gun. Introduced in 1957, the M60 drew inspiration from a number of German made automatic weapons and remains in service with the United States Armed Forces in a number of roles and configurations. Blade front and folding ladder peep sights, a slotted flash hider and a swiveling handle on the quick-detach barrel, and a solid plastic handguard with integral front pistol grip. The Catco markings and address are present on both the barrel trunnion and the underside of the bottom channel. With a receiver mounted box hanger, "SD" marked pistol grip, and an aluminum top cover. Fitted with a plastic and aluminum buttplate with a flip-up shoulder rest.

Excellent, with 95% plus matte black finish, showing some light handling marks overall. The receiver cover shows some minor scratches and wear. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
