Manufactured in 1943. Fixed sights, with the two-line, two-block Colt markings and Rampant Colt on the left side of the unnumbered slide, "P" on top and a "GHD" inspected frame with "1/VP" and "45" on the trigger guard. Fitted with a stamped short trigger, wide hammer, checkered slide catch and thumb safety, long grip safety, checkered arched mainspring housing, reinforced Colt grips, full blue "L" magazine and "COLT 45 AUTO" barrel. With a brown leather 1943 dated Graton & Knight holster.

Excellent, with 98% of the original parkerized finish, showing mild handling marks and holster/edge wear, with a few breaks in the lettering of the slide markings (factory error; from die wear). The grips are excellent, with a few tiny dings on the checkering. Mechanically excellent. The holster has been altered, with the tip and the belt loops cut.
