U.S. Military inspection mark on the left side of the frame. Checkered Coltwood grips with the large reinforcing rings around the screws and strengthening ribs. Barrel marked "COLT 45 AUTO" on the left side of the chamber with a "P" stamped on the left side of the lug and "G" stamped ahead of the lug.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. 85% plus original parkerized finish remains with an area of wear on the left side of the slide, sharp edges and markings, and areas of scattered mild edge wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent with sharp checkering, and a few light dings. Mechanically excellent. A very fine original representative example of an iconic military semi-automatic pistol.
