Manufactured from 1863 to 1878. The top barrel flat has the three-line patent/address/model marking, and the barrel and both grips are numbered to the gun. With an open top and floral tooled leather hostler.

Fine. The barrel retains 70% original blue finish, and the trigger guard retains 75% original silver plating. The remaining metal surfaces retain strong traces original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The grips are very fine with a small chip missing near the top (left panel) and some minor handling marks on the butt edges. The grip panels retain most of the finish. Mechanically excellent. The attractive holster is very good with flex wear and flaking.
