Manufactured in 1949 and subsequently masterfully engraved and gold inlaid by Angelo Bee. Each end of the barrel has a gold inlaid wire band and there is a 2 1/4 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving on the breech end as well. The receiver is decorated with floral scroll and punch dot designs. There is a gold inlaid wire border on each side of the receiver, and an oval panel with two rose gold relief engraved rabbits in a wooded scene on the left side and two relief engraved and rose gold inlaid squirrels in a wooded scene on the right side. The lower left side of the receiver is signed "ABEE" below a small bee. The trigger guard, tangs, bolt and magazine tube pipes are engraved with the same floral scroll designs. The serial numbers are gold inlaid and the trigger is gold washed. Standard barrel markings and mounted with a nicely figured 17 groove walnut forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.
