Manufactured in 1949 during the transition period (late 1945-1951). It features hooded ramp and two leaf sights, Redfield scope mount with rings, standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver and "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floor plate, late safety, cloverleaf receiver tang, polished bolt numbered to gun, quick release sling swivels, solid Winchester recoil pad and Super Grade pistol grip stock with hard rubber factory grip cap.

Very fine. The rifle retains 97% original blue finish showing some speckling of patina and slight loss at the muzzle. The stock is also very fine showing numerous scattered minor pressure dents and scratches and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
